The challenge: Delivering e-learning content securely

With a large and continuously expanding catalogue, Ideaspropias Editorial needed a solution that would enable the secure distribution of its SCORM content to clients using different learning management systems, while maintaining full control over courses, licences, and access to learning materials. The goal was to provide training centres with a seamless and efficient experience, whether they used Ideaspropias Editorial’s own platform or needed to integrate the content into their own LMS.

As Ideaspropias Editorial’s catalogue continued to grow, so did demand from a different type of customer: organisations and businesses with their own LMS that wanted to integrate the courses directly into their existing learning environment without changing systems. Meeting this demand while retaining control over the content and maintaining full usage traceability became the key challenge.

The solution: scormPROXY as a technology partner

Since 2020, Ideaspropias Editorial has relied on scormPROXY and its SCORM CLOUD solution to distribute its catalogue to more than 500 corporate clients managing their own learning platforms. This technology enables remote content delivery—without ever transferring the original SCORM files—while providing real-time monitoring of learner access, active licences, and learner progress across each client platform. As a result, Ideaspropias Editorial offers greater flexibility without compromising security or control over its content.

Pedro López

Pedro López, Managing Director of Ideaspropias Editorial, explains: “Our collaboration with scormPROXY has enabled us to distribute our e-learning content to clients using their own platforms while always maintaining full control over our courses, licences, and user access. For a publishing company like ours, with more than 1,700 SCORM courses, having a solution that is agile, secure, and fully aligned with our turnkey service model is essential. It allows us to offer greater flexibility to training centres without ever compromising the protection of our content.”

Thanks to this collaboration, Ideaspropias Editorial can deliver its content across a wide range of learning environments, adapting to the technological requirements of each training centre while strengthening its position as a specialist provider of e-learning content and solutions for vocational education and training. Today, this distribution capability plays a key role in supporting the continued growth of its e-learning offering and providing access to its content for more than 200,000 learners, while ensuring an efficient and scalable management model.
