Users (students) using a Mac computer or iPad \/ iPhone device may receive the following error (\u00abYou do not have permission to access this package\u00bb) <\/em> when trying to access content hosted on scormPROXY:<\/p>\n

This only happens if those users use Apple’s Safari browser, as this browser blocks cross-domain access by default. To solve this error and be able to access the contents, instruct the user to follow the following steps:<\/p>\n

If you are a Mac desktop user <\/strong> <\/em><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • In the Safari menu, select the option Preferences …<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • In the dialog box, select the Privacy <\/strong>section<\/li>\n
  • Uncheck the option Prevent cross-site tracking <\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Log out of the LMS, re-enter and access the content again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you are an iPad \/ iPhone user with iOS10 <\/strong> <\/em><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Access the application Settings <\/strong> of the device<\/li>\n
    • Access the Safari <\/strong> section of the menu on the left of the screen<\/li>\n
    • Select the option Block Cookies <\/strong><\/li>\n
    • In the Cookies and Website Data <\/strong> section, select the Always allow <\/strong>option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If you are an iPad \/ iPhone user with iOS11 <\/strong> <\/em><\/h4>\n

      • Access the application Settings <\/strong> of the device<\/li>\n
